It all started two years ago, when my friend, Raja and I were talking about chatting up over coffee on Christmas Eve Eve (December 23). He was concerned that our favorite coffee shop (Joy Coffee Bar) would be closed and the big chains would be really busy. I suggested he could pick up our drinks and bring them over and I’d have the fireplace ready. He was game!
I mentioned to my husband about the plan and told him I was thinking of pulling a fast one – I’d make something to eat to go with the drinks.
Raja walked in the door and the look on his face was priceless!! I had pulled out the fancy Sunday dishes, silverware, cloth napkins and served Orange White Chocolate Sour Dough French Toast with cheese and fruit. Thus Fancy Breakfast Threesome’s began.
As we had more fancy breakfasts together, the idea of having a lifestyle blog began to percolate and today is my Day One for choosing it.
Side note: I had picked up the bread from Pennyloaf Bakery. I have since made my own Cinnamon Bread, inspired from Simple In Season to use instead.
